OK. This thing is ugly! If you look at all it has, it looks like they took a K12LT and made everything "more extreme." No ergonomic testing or any functionality testing. Just make it extreme...
I believe it to be a fad that will fade away. Right noe thye're "cool" looking to some, give it a year, people will be saying, what were we thinking...
My thoughts. So, do you lke the looks, hate the looks, or undecided.

They've been out for a while, and I have only seen one on the road.
Maybe a face only a momma could love?

I put it in the catagory with the RUNE! IT just doesn't do it for me.

I don't find it ugly but I don't find it at all attractive, either. Some designs fade, as you say, while others grow on people. I can remember seeing one of the first Honda CX-500s on display, pre-launch, in Douglas on the Isle of Man during the TT Races. I stoutly declared I hated everything about it and would never consider buying a bike where the engine was so high in the frame and you needed a telescope to find the plugs. Not many years later I bought a nearly-new 1981 example and absolutely loved it.
It had its drawbacks, of course. I think it was at least as unstable at low speeds as the LT, the heat-path from the radiator emerged under your crotch so a sweaty bum was inevitable on warm days and it used vast amounts of petrol if you squeezed the throttle for even a short distance. In its favour it was dead easy to maintain, utterly reliable and economical if you kept the revs below about 4,500 rpm, which still gave you reasonable performance.

I voted hate the looks cause I do, but that thing is by far the most comfy 2-up bike on the planet. When I start doing long distance riding w/ my wife, I'll look for a much discounted used one. We took a 45 min. test ride, and my wife and I loved it. We liked it better than my RT, the LT, and HD Roadglide.
But yes, it is ugly...

I like it, a lot. Wanna know why? It doesn't look like every other bike. Someone took a chance with the design (bet the farm it seems) and I appreciate that kind of courage.
I have ridden BMW's my whole life; four of them for about half a million miles. What was the last chance BMW took (beside the LT final drive)?
Style is a personal choice, but I will bet anyone on this or any other forum; if ten different bikes were parked in front of a diner, the Vision would capture the most attention; because it is different.

I like it from some angles but hate it from some as well. The 10th anniversary color is excellent but it still looks bad from the same angles.

I test rode the first one in Spokane Washington. The ride for me was comfortable but my SO complained about excess vibration on the back seat. I thought they liked that???
Anyway the transmission still had the Victory clunk that I was used to. I owned a 1999 Victory and the transmission was very loud. The Vision was pretty comfortable at 70-80 MPH but nothing like the Beemer.
I think it is a niche and was very over priced for what you get. The power curve was Ok but again not like the Beemer so I think that the LTC is a better touring machine.
Have a great day,

I really wanted to like the Vision. I loved the Vegas and the Kingpin and anxiously awaited the Vision...yuck.
I think for me it's the trunk I don't like. The way it sit on what looks like a pod. I much prefer the way it looks without the trunk, but that is something I need in a bike. I hope it sells well enough to keep Victory in the touring market. Competition for our dollars is a good thing.
