FM Transmitter

I just received a Sirius Starmate setup for Xmas. Yes, I asked for it to listen to Howard! Please don't hold that it against me.

I plan on installing it using a Ram Mount or on an RCU shelf. My question is has anyone tested the strength of the FM transmitter (XM Users included). Before I switched the Denison setup, I had the Griffin I trip that was next to useless. On Long Island, we get FM feeds from NYC and Conneticut. I never had any luck with getting a signal. It would constantly drift. I haven't tested it yet on the bike but I was wondering if any of you had tried it.

In my truck, I have it set up with a cassette hook up. Since my 02 has a CD player in the oddiments box, that won't work for me.

Are you using the Dension ice>Link Plus? If so, they make a Source Selector (http://www.dension.com/icelink_source_selector.htm) accessory that allows you to add three additional auxiliary inputs. This may be what you need. No idea on price, though.

I tried the Denison link but no prices are listed. When you go to their vendor area, the unit is not even listed.
