What kind of helmets do you all use?

1/2 Helmets (popular amongst the V-Twin crowd)
3/4 Helmets (flash backs of photos of my dad in the 70's
Full Helmets
Modular Helmets (i.e. full helmet where the front can open in addition to the visor)

Modular, of course! so I can talk to the Station attendant without seeming like Darth Vader.

On an off note Jeff, did you happen to notice a Champagne LT parked at Columbia Helo's today? If so, that was mine. PM me if you read this.

Nolan N*102. I have to keep my glasses on my face either to see or cover up the ugly part (it's not working) and I am too lazy to take them off just to put on a helmet. The flip-up part is great for that reason alone.

Shoei Multitech. Bright blue metalic. Best helmet I own.

Arai Astral X full face. Very comfortable. Always attached to my head if I'm riding.

KBC FFR flip front. Less noisy, but too tight front to back, too loose side to side. Gives me a headache on my 30 mile commute. Can't use it.

Used to have a Scorpion EXO-700 full face. Comfortable for less than 30 minutes. After that it was unbearable. Sold with last motorcycle.

I wore the Arai around the store for about 2 hours. Found it at Cycle Gear. They have a 7 day return policy for helmets. You can return it IF you haven't ridden in it. The clerk kept telling me that I could return the helmet if it wasn't comfortable later, to get me out of the store. Heck, I wasn't leaving until I was satisfied that I wouldn't be helmet shopping again soon.

Arai Corsair of course! Choice was easy considering what to expect if you did have a crash and wanted the best. Love my helmet!
