You're right. It looks like the race scheduling that has dropped into that slot will definitely be a problem for any opportunities for hot laps. We're working for a possible opportunity for an LT parade lap or two .... not as interesting but then again, how many guys do you know who've turned the track at Road Atlanta in ANY form? Stay tuned.

Bummer. :( But not unexpected. Maybe we could just share a day with the Superbike guys? Or get the Bostrom & Hayden brothers onto LTs for the day. Yeah, that'll work.

A parade lap would be cool if it works out, but we'd understand if it doesn't.

I was wondering if there might be any special pricing available to the CCR attendees who might want to take in the races Sat & Sun. Currently it looks like tickets are $50.00 a day or a 3 day pass for $110.00? A few us plan to attend, and even stay over an extra day at the Chatteau Elan.

Joe, there are several Texans that were really looking forward to seeing you on the track. Truly sad news. As you said "Bummer". But having missed the last CCR it will be great to see everyone again. Hope you and Dave can bring the "Gettars" again.

Knowing how competitive some y'all Texans can be...I'm sure there wuz a few hoping they'd get a chance to dust me while on their LT. :D And quite frankly, I was up for the challenge. I think it would've been big fun...no matter who was dusting who. There's just nothing like riding on a track. And Road Atlanta ain't too shabby compared to the tracks around here. Too bad, so sad.

As for CCR...I imagine I'll find plenty of reasons to make a cameo, if nothing else. Somebody has to make sure Grif and Jeff are behaving themselves. http://www.r1-forum.com/gallery/images/wink.gif
