not only that, when he went dead stick, did you notice his speed control around 210-215kts? He held it there for a good long time while getting his shite together....most excellent skills!

Grif, didn't you see the message in the center of the display? "WARN"... yeah, it should have said "WARM", but you know how it is when you have your documents "converted" overseas.

They eject when the hydrazine for the EPU (Emergency Power Unit) runs out...10 minutes.
The F-16 uses a digital fly-by-wire system, no cables to the flight controls, all electronically controlled hydraulic actuators. When the stand-by generator fails the EPU fires and gives them 10 minutes of electrical and hydraulic power.
