tankbag and the K1200LT

I just purchased an 06 K1200LT. It did not come with a tankbag. I have had a tankbag on prevous sport/tourers. What are some opinions out there as to the advisability of buying one for my new bike? It would seem to restrict access to the CD player,etc.

I have a BMW tankbag but I don't use it very much. I find that there is plenty of storage space in the trunk and saddlebags for my everyday stuff.

If you need the storage space that a tankbag offers, there are a few companies that offer tank bags for the LT.

I use mine quite a bit. Keep my work badge tucked into it for easy access to show the guard. Keep various sun glasses and regular glasses to swap out as I ride. In the cooler months I keep the temp-controller clipped inside to adjust on the go. I'm looking to find a water bladder for longer rides.
Access to the cassette or CD player isn't an issue even with a fairly large bag.
