View Full Version : Question for MyFi XM Radio users???

I currently have a MyFI unit hooked up on my K12GT via Autocom Pro 7 and want to add it to my K12LT. My first question is WRT the quality of sound when the XM radio broadcasts through the K12LT's FM radio station versus wired as a separate audio input in to the Autocom system. I want to be able to take advantage of the easy Vol/Mute controls on the K12LT and I'm assuming the easy way to do that is to have the XM radio broadcast in to the FM channel. Question 2; is there a way to wire the XM radio output in to the K12LT's stereo system directly (I have no visible aux input) so that I can take advantage of the LT's installed stereo controls.
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Thank you,
I will do the homework and may go ahead and order the aux adapter to plug into back of radio. Unfortunately I'm traveling most of Jan and will probably not get to the install until Feb. I will provide feedback on what ever I work out. Bound and determined to get satellite radio on to the LT and have use of the Vol/Mute/Speed-Vol features.

I was wondering how this worked out as I'm interested in doing the same thing.

Reido,
Check out the thread in the ipod area for what has been done with this aux input.
