I'd like to paint an item on my bike but by the time I buy the paint, primer, and clearcoat, it's a good chunk of change for a small paint job. Does anyone know of someone who might regularly paints B'mers that I can send a small job to?

The cheapest way would be to use a spray can and get it matched as close as possible. Depending on where the piece is, you wouldn't be able to tell if it was off a bit.

Ray Atwood's Cycle, you might give him a call or email.

I used him for my Silver Smoke R90S. Good job.
He has an ad in BMWMOA every month. Pg 87 in the Jul 08 issue.

+1 on using David Kinsey, he painted my RT, beautiful job, reasonably priced and a pleasure to deal with.
