Hey Brett, I told a gal happy new year yesterday and she looked at me like I had a third eye. This isn't one of those political correct thangs like Christmas is it?

Of course it is just like Christmas...why would you attempt to wish me a HAPPY NEW YEAR? I don't believe in new years and you shouldn't make me feel uncomfortable by wishing me well or happiness. How dare you make such an insinuation.

Have a Happy, Great and Safe "year", no matter what anybody else thinks...I wish ALL OF YOU (even the non-believers) only the best for the upcoming year(s)...

Take care...

Griff, I don't think so! What's the world coming to? LOL

Justin, I figured that Happy New Year would not be offensive! LOL

Have a good NEW YEAR, I don't care what anyone thinks!

Well Griff you must remember that not everyone celebrates the new year when we do... So you probably put your foot in your mouth.:p
Or maybe something you were wearing on your mind at the time...???:D

In any case Happy New Year to all!!!

Maybe she was Chinese, and her lunar-based calendar tells her that New Year occurs on January 29 in 2006. :)

Happy New Year to everyone, and may 2006 be the Year of Peace.

that's what's good about marrying a chinese woman ... pu and i get to celebrate new year twice/year. and let me tell you sumthin ... if you think americans have fire crackers, you are mistaken. those little gems they use to celebrate in asia are FIRECRACKERS, and they will wake the dead (or at least scare the shit out of evil spirits, which is their intent).

here's to peace in 2006.
