Me 880

Getting ready to install my first set of ME880s. Been using the Avon Storms.
Wanted to know what pressure I should run them at.

A lot have been running 42F and 48R.

42 F/ 48R, as always stated in the forums, works pretty well.
If you worry about getting punctures, look into putting some Ultraseal (http://www.ultraseal.com/) in them also.

I have been running mine at 36/42 for now, but I only have 100km or so on them.

I am not sure if I will go up to 42/48 though.

I run 40/48 psi (2 psi less than max rated pressure) Just had new ME880's installed today. Original ME880's had 24,671 Km's (or 15,420 miles) and still had some tread left - but not enough to get me to CCR and back safely. I think I got good mileage at these pressures, so will definitely stick with 40/48.

I weigh about 190 lbs (no gear) and ride solo.

I was like you doubting the wisom of this boad on my first set of me 880. Ran my second set at 42/48. Huge difference in wear. Keeping my third set there. Do yourself a favor and listen to these guys and run at 42/48.

yup..42 up front and 48 in the rear.. the roar you're going to hear in the curves is normal..I remember when i first heard it. made me think to myself "what the.. lol.. aewsome tire too
