Dave and Kathy are gonna show. Me too. Haven't heard from Doug yet, nor a coupla newbies whom I sent an e-mail invite to.

I was gonna be there, but a spot opened up on renewal class for my CHL. Shooting starts at 7ayem at Dietz's on FM46. Then we adjourn to Ryan's Steakhouse (*gag*) on Business 35 for the classroom portion. He said I only have to sit in till 11:30 since it's a renewal. This is my third time and this one will take for 10 years.

It's not due till October 31, but with the inundation of new licenses and a wait of up to 90 days, I thought I'd better strike whilst the iron was hot.

Now, where did I put my Kimber.... not.

Sorry to hear that, Bud. I know you said something similar at lunch last Friday - didn't know it would be this soon. Condolences to Sammie and you and the rest of the family.

Do keep me posted - I'm heading out to KS Sunday and back next Tue/Wed, but should have site access if the library up there is open on Monday. No e-mail, but site PMs work.

Feifei and I took a wrong turn when we left and never found the correct gas station. We thought we could catch up, and then decided we would take a short cut and get back on the route, then since we were on the GS decide we would take a few not so paved back roads, needless to say we never met back up but we made it safe back to Lakeway about 1:00, we will try to be more organinzed and on time time next time.
