A giant of a man who risked his life to save so many others, right down to the smallest child, was unable to save himself.

I extend to the Dwyer family my deepest condolences. Joseph is a true hero. One day, I hope to be half the man he was.

What a great young man, who never wanted the spot light put on him. You maybe asking yourself. How does he know this. Joseph use to cut my mothers grass and take care of her yard. He was also her neighbor. Only good and kind words were ever spoken about Joseph. I remember the day my mother found out about his death and the pain I heard in her voice. I ask all of us to pray for this family who have not only lost a son but a friend. Let us also keep the rest of our young sons and daughters in these same thoughts. Who might be battling the dark side of war. God Bless American. MK
