... I have to admit, the ole LT has hardly been ridden in the last 9 months.

I must be getting old...I have really lost any interest in riding in hot weather. Of course, there has been plenty of cool weather in the last 9 months, but my life seems to have been really busy since I moved in Oct of last year.

I am a little jealous that you guys in S Texas have a monthly RTE... If I was more adventurous, I would plan on crashing one some weekend.

None the less, I don't think I will post my bike in the classifieds soon. I still hope to find time to ride in the near future.

You can crash any of the RTEs any time. Better yet, find a place to hold a RTE up your way and as long as it has pie or a place to stop to have pie I can guarentee that the Pie Princess could be persuaded to make the trip. There are several of us in the north TX area that would enjoy a trip up to Okla.

Pick a place, dated (Saturdays are best). and post it. I know there are several riders in Okla that would enjoy the idea of having a RTE.

Heck we've had a few Okies crash the RTE's before ....We have had folks from Fla. Ohio & NY drop in from time to time so just get off you ARS and ride down. :D Or better yet call one up yonder way and see what happens as Bruce said. If ya add PIe we know who will show up.
BTW LIL Hijack. Remember the movie "BettleJuice" if you say his name 3 times he appears. I wonder if that will work with Pie Princess. :histerica

You need to crash our group a time or two and that will spark an interest - we can be a crazy bunch at times but the friendships are the BEST (and the PIE is nothing to balk at!)

Unless I have somewhere to go, I jump in the car with my shorts and sandals. I agree with Dean. It's HOT and just to run a few errands, it's not worth it to Power Ranger up and ride. If I have a place that there is a RTE or just going for a ride, I will go but just to mess around town, I'm too much of a wimp.
