I need to replace a Rear Disc Brake on a 2007 GS1200
Anybody know the Torque Spec. on the Disc. Bolts !
How about a PDF File Manual ?

The R1200GS.info (http://www.r1200gs.info) site has a lot of good information. HERE (http://www.r1200gs.info/misc/torque.html) are the torque tables listed on their site.

Brake disc to wheel carrier, M8 x 15.5 Micro-encapsulated
Initial torque, 12 Nm (9 ft-lbs)
Final torque, 30 Nm (22 ft-lbs)

Would this not be a warranty item better handled by a dealer? (Better as in cheaper and warranted if something goes wrong.)

There are several reasons disc replacement may not be a warranty item, or he may be replacing the OEM with one of those sexy wave rotors!
