Who's going to GILLETTE

Hey guys,

Anyone going to GILLETTE WY. for the BMW national rally? I 'm thinking of heading over on the seventeenth and taking day and half to get there.Due to time off I will slab over and then try to take more scenic roads on the way home.:)

I'll be there. I'll be in Billings, MT until Friday morning then ride down on Friday the 18th. (My Birthday, 55 this year) Some of the trike riders are getting toghether on Saturday for a ride out Devil's Tower.

Sounds like a good time for both of you guys. Wish we could make it but will make shorter day rides and overnights leading up to CCR.

We made it 615 miles this past week on a 3 day / 2 night ride down the coast for some GT checkpoints. Pauline's recovery is doing nicely. :)

Happy Early Birthday! Small world... I have ridden with the gentleman (Harry Hilderman) down in Phoenix that you bought the LT from for your trike conversion, so I have actually ridden with "your bike" before! I will look forward to admiring the conversion in Gillette.

Two of us are planning on blasting out of here for Gillette on the 17th, catching some of GT checkpoints(Metaline, St Mary's, Storey) along the way. We will probably only be in Gillette one night(Friday) as there are way too many great roads we want to ride coming back...Lolo, Beartooth, Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and Shell Canyon.
