I'll apologize up front for having to ask a tire pressure question; however, my '02 LT has ME880s and I was wondering what the agreement is to correct tire pressure.
I'm wondering how popular angle stems are among this happy bunch. I'm thinking about getting some to make things easier.
BTW, I'm am really enjoying this motorcyle. I get a lot of complements, too.

46 psi front 48 psi rear, is what I use. There was some discussion here before about the weight of the angled valve stems. I just installed metal "bolt ins" when I did my tire changes last weekend, they seem to work just fine and were only $5 for a pair.

I run 42 front, 48 rear on my ME 880's. Regarding angled valve stems, make sure you use the metal bolt in, not the rubber ones. Centrifugal force will cause them to flex when the tire is moving.

I don't use the angle stems, but did buy a 90 degree adapter. It screws on the existing stem when you fill up and then you remove it and put it back in the kit. Costs about $12.
If I were putting on new tires then I might go with the metal 90 degree adapter. But I'd probably want the ones that fit flush on the rims. Not much chance tf them flexing at all.

Could you show me any website where they sell those 90 degree angle stems for the tires. I dont recall seeing them here and I have no idea if there is adapters and what size they should be.
I find it hard to fill those tires with my present fitness :(
I am running what the manual says but I will have to change that it seems.

Hello
38 front 48 rear
Am using 85 deg metal valve stems from kurveygirl.com
85deg - Enkei Metal Valve Stem - Set (2pcs) $10.00
These fit good in my 99LT rims and also in 05LT, they clear the front brake caliper with no problems . Tried the aluminum ones they too large to fit down into the rim pocket .
My tires seem to loose less air with these stems

Not sure about the 90' stems, but here is a link to a popular site that has 45' stems which at least one of our members is reportedly using:

I have some on order myself just to see if it will help in getting past those blasted front disks!

I bought my 90 degree adapter from A&S Cycles for $14.00. I've seen them as low as $12.95 from other stores. Here's a link to the A&S one ...

For the flush mount version though I'm going to have to look through my catalogs and/or magazines to see if I can find it again. If I can, I'll post a link to it or a picture.
