Gel Battery Replavemt

I have read enough battery/charger post that my head hurts but have not found a recommended replacement for my 05 gel battery. As I have the a gel specific battery tender, I'm reluctant to switch to either a lead acid or AGM battery. I have two long trips planned and don't want have an issue so I decided to get a replacement. BMW wants a mere $165 for their replacement.

Odessey or OEM
OEM will need topping up after a year or so
Odessey will fire that beast up like a rocket and be sound for ages.

I been running the Odessey battery for a year now and have had no issue at all. Fires right up and I always run with Motolights and CD player on. Winter time I sometimes have the grips, seat and heated jacket running also and have never had a problem.

Is this a gel battery and do you have a part #? If not a gel, will a gel spoecific charger work on an AGM?

its a drycell battery,you could call them about the charger.
