I've read some previous posts regarding StopnGo and gummy worms or whatever and still haven't made a decision on which system to go with.
What IS the best tire plug kit and portable air compressor to have for the LT?
Please remember, I am NO mechanic and would need the simplest of kits for a quick road-side flat repair! :D
I will probably rid the bike of the OE tire repair kit (2003) as it is probably no good anyway.

Cell phone and towing service. :)
If you are that worried about it, get some Slime for Motorcycle tires and the little Slime pump kit. Put the Slime in the tire, bring it to pressure and wait for a flat.

Stop n go tire plug kit and slime pump. If you want to get fancy mount the pump on the bike and run a longer hose like I did pics found in this thread. I mounted the pump where the canister was. put a longer wire on the switch then made a bracket to mount it to. Powered it off battery tender plug. Just plug in power hook hose to vavle stem and flip the switch ;)

Any small compressor will do the job. They all have the same low-flow high-volume type motor on them and will fill up your tire. I enjoy the Slime 40001 (http://www.amazon.com/Slime-40001-Power-Sport-Inflator/dp/B000ET9SB4/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1214677281&sr=8-1) pump because it is very small and comes with various electrical attachments and such. You can find them online and sometimes at your local autoparts store. Hunt around and look at them and others. You can always go with the Wal-Mart special at $15, it's just a little bigger than the others.
I've got a StopNGo kit that I've used which is holding up very well. The gummy patches also work, and are cheaper. Whichever you decide, make sure to practice with the kit on an old tire. Makes the first roadside use go much easier.
Cheers,
