I have purchased a NOMAR TIRE CHANGER and have a Marc Parnes balancer. I am willing to change motorcycle tires for a very modest fee while building adequate experience to acquire proficiency with this tire changer. I just changed my tires and balanced them for my 05 LT.
I live on the east hill of Kent, WA. Brian Ley knows where I live. My address is: 12829 SE 234th Street, Kent, WA and am listed in the telephone directory or you can contact me via PM on this forum.

Now you tell me Terry, as I just changed out my GT tires this week. :) Fortunately it was at another LT rider's house so all it cost me was some beer. :D And a call to Brian to get the correct torque settings (I owe you a beer too, buddy).
Anyway, it's great that you can offer that service to folks up that way.
Maybe I'll have to pop up sometime in July and say hi. Any excuse for a ride. :)

Which model did you get? I just ordered this one (http://www.nomartirechanger.com/product/show/1). I can't wait to try it out!
BTW: the nominal fee down here is some cold ber on the deck. Perhaps a $4 disposal fee if the local tire company gets pissy about dumpin' the tires in their pile, but the mgr. has been cool so far. ;)
Good luck and have a lot of fun with it.

So Ernie, who did you find that would take the old tires? Art & I are about ready to light off a pile of them if we can't get someone to accept them! If you don't want to advertise who the generous dealer is you could PM us with the info.
Tks in advance!
John

John -
I've had good luck with Les Schwab's in my neighborhood. They have a semi parked out back and have let me throw mine in there from time-to-time.

Come to think of it, is there a good shop around here that can hot patch a tire from the inside? Sometimes car shops will do that, even for bike tires.
