How much are you guy's having to pay to put a new 1200LT onto the road?

Over here in France the current price is 23,500 Euros...that works out at 37,007.80 USD at the current exchange rate.

We have had an GS1150 from new the last 5 years and SWMBO would really like to trade it for a LT (so would I but there is always too much month left at the end of the money!)

Does the price include the TVA?
I think the TVA is a big chunk of the price you pay in France.

A new LT is around 22,000 USD plus the local sales tax (8.25% in Los Angeles County).

....that Euro price is 'key in your hand' as they say over here.....ready to roll and all taxes paid.

....so your OTR price comes out to 23,815 US....or 15,122.55 Euros...

WOW!!!!!!!....that is a saving of 8,377.45 Euro's you lucky devils!........and considering the bikes are made just next door to us in Germany and how far they must be shipped to get them to your side of the Atlantic....somebody somewhere is making a lot of money!
