South Central Ride To CCR

Less then 2 months till we leave to CCR :eek:
We would like to ride some or all the way to CCR with other riders.
Our plan so far is as follows......
I leave Saturday Aug. 23rd around 3:00 am alone :( (Sammie flying out Sunday) Ride straight to Rio Rancho. (outside of Albuquerque)
Sammie flies in on Sunday , we stay with friends till Monday.
Monday leave 7 or 8:00 am ride NW to Colorado 300 to 400 miles that day not sure what route yet.
Stay Monday night some where. Colorado or Utah ???? :rolleyes:
Tuesday on the road 7 or 8:00 am ride into CCR :dance:
If anyone will be on the road at any of these time let me know so we can hook up

I haven't figured out if I am leaving Friday late or Monday early or somewhere in between. Kathy will fly to Salt Lake City Monday or Tuesday.

Slightly different topic.. What kind of gear are you taking? If I see this right we can get temperatures ranging from near 100 down to 25 on the trip from S.Tex to Midway. Most my winter gear is in storage due to several recent moves.

Most my winter gear is in storage due to several recent moves.I'm taking my mesh and liners. Though I never used the liners on the Teton CCR. If it's daylight I just gutted up the passes, or you'd be playing what I call the rain dance. That constant on and off of gear.

I'm taking my Mesh and my liners. Having the Bushtec trailer makes traveling a lil easer
