I recently picked up a Dawn Technologies di-GPS and am very very pleased with it. http://www.di-gps.com/di-GPS/index.htm.
It's a GPS receiver about the size of half a pack of matches that connects to the 10-pin remote port on a handful of newer digital SLRs. I'm using a Nikon D300.
What does it do? The same thing as the GPS on your bike - sorta. Every time you snap a pic it records the GPS coordinates to the exif data of the image. You can use something like Google Earth & Smugmug to map the data.

Pretty cool, huh?
