Response to ad not going through

I have sent 2 messages to a seller in the classified section using the links on the ad page itself but he has not received them. I went the long way around & sent a PM from his profile page which worked fine.

My membership has recently lapsed, is this the reason it did not go through or is there another issue?

RickWhen you contact the seller, I believe the message is sent through email instead of the sites PM system. This allows people who are not members to contact the seller.

This would require the seller to have his correct email address in his profile and that there is no spam or other filtering that might block the delivery.

I did verify that questions sent to ads listed in the classifieds are sent to the members registered email address. I also confirmed that the messages are being sent properly with each question.
