Today I lost a great, close friend. His name...Buster Monk. Buster was the founder of the motorcycle ministry (Wings of Eagles) at the church I pastor, Christ Community Church in Huntersville, NC.
Buster was one of the godliest, most kind and gentle men I have ever met. About two months ago he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, today he went home to be with the Lord. Please offer your prayers for his wife Linda and the rest of his familyas they struggle through this diffcult time. Our motorcyclists will be (at his request) the honorary pallbearers at his funeral and I will deliver the message. He finished well...very well. Ride on Buster...no suffering now!
