Well, after selling the LT it was time for a change. Something that I have never had before and something not even similar to another bike I have had. So, I found a nice used GS. Its a 2004 1150 dual spark with 14k miles. It came packed with all the extras: side cases, top case, crash bars, cylinder protectors, full remus titanium exhaust, cee bailey screen, mayer saddle, BMW tank bag, etc.... Needless to say it came fully equiped. I found the bike in Colorado so I took a flight out there were the seller picked me up. Frome there it was a matter of taking the scenic route home. I wasnt sure if the tires were going to make it home or not. I had negotiated a tire credit but the local BMW dealer wanted over 550 dollars for a set of tire mounted and balanced. If in the Denver area I highly recomend you stay away from foothill BMW. Heavily overpriced. A&S came in 150 less for the exact same thing. So, I had a new back tire drop shipped to the sellers house and strapped it down for the ride home just in case since going across the salt flats and Nevada, there arent alot of motorcycle shops. This way if I did have a problem with the tire, I had a replacement on hand to get home. Well, here are some pictures of the ride home. Colorado is an amazing place to ride and I would love to make it back again. I rode through Estes Park, went on trail ridge through the rocky mtn national park. I then headed over the HWY 40 and went and stayed in steamboat springs. I met up with a fellow GS rider in Utah and he escorted me through some grat backroads through Utah that I would never had known about. It was a great ride and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Lots of strange looks. At every stop I was at, I had peopel coming up and asking about where I was going. At the burger king a group of about 10 ment stood around it looking at everything. It was almost as if they ahd never seen a mtoorcycle before.
