Couple More

And a first impression... For me she's far, far more comfortable than the LT.. Way less helmet wind noise, rides just as smooth..

Albeit just a tad bit LOUDER.

Ztecnik aftermarket pipes... pretty loud....

Congratulations, John.

I've always thought the CLC was a great-looking bike. Please be sure to come back with a long-term review after you've had it for awhile. I'm particularly interested in what Lindy thinks of the passenger comfort, etc.

The passenger seat is similar in size if not slightly deeper. I'll try to remember to measure it.. On the CLC I have the standard rider pegs PLUS highway pegs. Lindy is very excited and thinks it'll be just as if not more comfortable than the LT.

I'll get you a pic of those pegs Howard...

All the way home I was thinking, This is the bike I should have had in the first place. It's certainly not as difficult to handle as the LT. Not that the LT is "difficult" You just damn sure better be on point at all times...

On the CLC you can relax a little more. Found it very refreshing.

Good looking bike John. I love the color and see it has a trailer hitch, do you have something to pull?
I am also wondering how the wifey likes the back seat.

I like this bike !

Lindy says the back seat and ride are similar to the LT. She also agrees that there is far less wind noise. It has a Cee Bailey tall windshield on it. I also have the original M shaped windshield.

But you can't hear the stereo over the pipes...:p But boy she sounds good..

We took it out tonight to dinner and came back about dark. The standard lights on this bike are better than the LT with HID's.

Karl, the p/o has wired up dual filament bulbs in the low beams and when you go to high beams all 6 filiments light up. Two low, Two high with the low, And two separate high beams. It's wonderful..

The ride, along with the floor boards and highway pegs just suits my lanky, fat, bloated, twelve sammich eatin ass body better than the LT does.. My legs were instantly much more comfortable.

Doesn't have near the pick-up as the LT. But it's pretty heavily detuned so I guess it's supposed to be crusing not sporting.

The front end is a lot heavier than the LT because the fairing and guages and all the lights and mirrors are hung on the forks. Other than getting used to the weight it's really a non issue. The bike handles just fine. I think it'll lean further than the LT without scraping as well. I had her over pretty far today.

As of right now I'm Very Happy with my purchase. But sadly the LT's got to go. Lindy says I've gone over my wheel quota.

Apparently 24 is a bit too many...

More as it comes up..
