Hello all from Argentina from our wonderful country side, this is my first posting. I will be more than happy to help with local ride info.

I just sold my 2006 GSA,,, loved it but I was caught by the new 2008 GSA, should have it around SEPTEMBER 2008.. my question is ref the ESA suspension, dose any one have any experience or should I stay simple with the standers version.. TKS :bmw:

Hi Pampero,
ESA is a must, I would say. It really makes a difference if you ride with gusto on sport mode or comfort mode, and the chance to level de bike when riding 2 up is great. If money is not an issue, the 700 euros that I paid for it are being more than enjoyed.

TKS Martin .. I am sure that BMW know what they are doing but I am a bit concerned about the rear ESA cable.. is it not to exposed to gravel and other items .. I was told in other thread that i can place a cover... what do you think. :bmw:

I'm not sure this is true. The leveling the bike is done at the preload stage prior to starting. E.g. Engine running and stationary, hold the ESA button to select, single, single+gear, 2-up. That essentially sets the bike up for the load and does indeed lower/raise the bike. The ESA settings while in motions as best I understand changes the damping. I don't have it on my ADVENTURE but do have it on my '07GT.
