Hey Guys,
I'm planning an adventure for July... And I'm getting a crazy idea that is starting to sound better and better.... :p I WAS thinking of heading down to the Smokey Mountains for a week... buuut... since that area is just getting overrun with traffic and dumb "Speed Racers"... am starting to reverse course....
What I'm thinking is to go to Nova Scotia, up into NF/Labrador over to Quebec Province (eh) and then down through Canada (eh) to Montreal and then back home... :cool: hmmmm But I ran into a snag...
1) Does anyone know if it's possible to go from Old Fort Bay, QC, Canada to Natashquan, QC, Canada WITHOUT taking a ferry?
2) Second question... anyone been up there (NF/Labrador, Far Northern Quebec etc.) in July on an LT? Is it all Gravel roads? I guess I'm really asking, would I be crazy to try it on an LT?
3) How much traffic is there - is it as desolate as I think it is? Oh and piggyback question - if the LT decides to break down (I know, I know... BMW's NEVER break down... they require maintainance.... :p ) exactly how screwed would I be in terms of getting it repaired?
4) Will I have trouble finding a place to sleep this time of year? (that would NOT end up with me being the main course for every Mosquito in the Northern Hemisphere that is :eek: )
5) What about the traffic laws - are there any draconian rules I may want to be aware of before I get myself too convinced this will be a fantastic trip?
I'm really starting to like the thought of heading up to the land of the Celts with very little traffic and hot Celtic women, with Celtic Festivals and lots of hot Celtic women, and really good Canadian beer and HOT Celtic women and really great scenery with HOT CELTIC WOMEN and, and.... :D
