Anyone doing the Honda Hoot this week?

I will be there Thursday and maybe Saturday.
One lonely LT amongst all those wings.
People do stop and check out the BMW.

I have attended that every year it has been in Knoxville, except maybe one. My main reason for attending was to find something new, be it a farkle or gear. Well I've still got a pile of things to install, so I think I sit this year out. From the schedule it looks to be another good time, so have fun. There'll be other BMW's there, you won't be alone, but it will seem like it with all the wings. :-)

I need another case of Plexus. That is my main/only excuse for going.

I haven't been since I got the LT. I'm teaching this weekend, so I'm out. Wish I could, though. I always like the hoot, although their event shirts leave much to be desired.... I guess it's okay if you're the red velvet vest type, but I want a shirt that looks like a bike event.... LOL

That's is why you apply for the credit cards.

Chase was giving away cool shirts last year.
Since my credit score can't get much higher, who cards if I loose some points because Chase ran a credit check?
I got two shirts out of it and my score was back to narmal in about a month.

Have fun and be a good representative for us LTers.... are teh other mfrs still loosely boycotting the demo area? I heard it got pretty bad a couple years ago because of the Honda name in the event title.

Ever been to Barley's Taproom in the old city part? Excellent pizza, band on occasion. Great place to go on Thursday, which is bike night, or used to be when we went last.

My wife will fill out the apps. and change a letter in her name and a number in SSN. All we have ever been asked for was to fill out the app. They run the credit later. Get shirt, or other goodie, GOODBYE! Credit is not run, so no hits on it. No worries if credit were checked. We just don't need any more cards.

The Hoot was pretty LAME!

Much worse than last year.
