View Full Version : I can finally breathe a bit

It sucks to have a cold just before Christmas. Last two days I've been like a zombie on cruise control. Laying down for 2 hours at a time getting up to a massive headache taking medicine and laying down again.

My biggest fear is bronchitis...which starts my asthma attacks..not good. Hopefully I am taking enough medicine to not go there.

Nyquil is my friend at night.

The sun is shining and I haven't ridden a bike in a week. Grrrr.

Well, I couldn't take it anymore. Sick or no sick, went to the gas station, got five gallons of gas in a container brought it home, filled up the Ducati, fired it up and let it warm up. Put my first gear mesh with the liner on, hopped on the Ducati and went for its maiden voyage. Hopped on 50 from 65th and then took biz 80 to H and back home.

Did have to adjust the idle a couple of times and now I have it where it needs to be.

All I can say is sweeeeeet!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I feel better now. Maybe it was the 3 Ibuprofen pills I took an hour before the ride. The headache is gone.

Raffy,

i can sympathize with you... Had terrible fever/cough for a couple days. Finally got past the fever, now I have splitting sinus headaches. By the time I take enough medicine to knock them down, I'm a bit woozy - probably best not be on the LT in that state! Missed two 60+ degrees this week....

Glad you got out and burned some gas through the new Ducati - boy, that is a niiiice looking bike!
