I searched the intercom area and did not find this question.
My new, Demo, 06 LT plays the external speakers at the same time as the helmet speakers. How can I silence the external speakers while still listening to the helmet speakers? Thanks for your patience with this new guy.

On my 2002, there is a button in the oddments box on the intercom control panel to switch between headsets and speakers.

Thanks
However, even when the speaker shaped things on that button say "of" you can still hear through them.

I believe you have the same comm system as my 05. If so - you push the musical note button on radio control panel. You should see "speaker on" in the display. Then press the tune up (right side) on the left handgrip - the display should change to "speaker off". You will then be able to hear music, intercom etc through helmet speakers. To change back to speakers reverse the procedures. This sounds more complicated then it is.

This is the same process for my '07, so assume it works on your '06.

Gentlemen:
Thank you soooo much for the help. It seems my dealer lost my owners manuals and substituted manuals from an older LT. Your information and the other threads on this site are an incredible help!
