I had my dealer order the radio/ control module in his words for my LT. I have the Interstate Star Sport Platinum Coverage Extended warranty. They called its in. I asked if there was areason why I couldnt install unit myself. They told me that in order for the part to be covered under warranty they had to install part. And they are alotted 4.7 hours to do it. Just wondering if anybody else has had similar experience.Couldnt find anything clear cut in the warranty.

so I take it you have to pay for labor????? I would thank that they mean for the new part to be covered under warr. they have to install it, and if that is the case then no big deal tell them to give you the part and you will give them the old one, and do it your self.

If they are alloted 4.7 hours to install the part then "whover alloted" them should also pay for the labor. My extended warrenty works that way from what I understand. Pretty much just like the factory warrenty for what it covers (not quite as good as the factory warrenty).
