Question on alarm system

I have a 2002 LT and had disconnected the battery on Saturday while working on the bike. I was working on some of the wiring associated with accessories that I had added to the bike. Since then, the alarm sets itself randomly sometimes three times a day. The key fob will deactivate the alarm once set but I don't understand why the alarm is self activating?

Any thoughts?

There are alarm manuals in the technical section if you do not have your stock one. I suggest you start there as I know some alarms are factory configured to auto enable (turn on - including the ignition disabler - when you turn off the motorcycle) and that can be a real pain in the ***. Mine was reconfigured by the dealer to only turn on when manually set. Much preferred.

Thanks. Maybe reconnecting the battery set it in the automatic mode for some reason. It was originally in manual mode.
