Look at it as a way to power wash the bike. After a good rain storm ride all the bugs are normally off my bike.

As I sit high and sort of dry (:)) NW of Chicago, much of southern Wisconsin and central Indiana are awash in 3-4 feet of flood water, and interstate 57 just a few miles south of Chicago was shut down for 2 days when two 100' tall steel electrical transmission towers blew over in a thunderstorm and tornado and dropped all their wires acorss the interstate. Trucks were also blown over on the highway. One lane in each direction is open tonight (6/9/08) in case anybody is traveling this way. Its going to be that way for several weeks at Commonweath Edison puts up new towers and strings new cable across I57.
