The seat height adjustment bar under the driver seat broke.
I tried JB weld but it didn't hold.
What do you call it, where can I get another one.
I can go to my local dealer, and see if I can order one. But I'd rather give him the part number because they have a history of getting me the wrong part. Or maybe somebody has an exta?

TIA

Check with Tony at LTParts.com

I'd bet he's got a busted up seat with a pristine seat adjustment bar

Take it to your local garage and have them weld it.

Good idea, I'll look for some local shops. Never had to ask anybody to weld anything before.

Yep, I had three of those break on my LTs over the years. I ended up carrying a spare around in my tool bag. I was going to have the first one welded but was told it couldn't be as the original tabs were braised and not welded. Your dealer can get you one faitly quickly (never waited more than 3-4 days) or check LTParts or Beemer Boneyard.

If Tony can't help you out let me know - pretty sure we've got a couple of spares hanging around somewhere.

Tia,
See the attached photo--is that it? If so, it's yours. Send me a PM with your address and it'll be on its way.
