Yes, Sandar the mag has agreed to ding, dent, set afire or otherwise molest la trucka so we can have a tech session.;)
150 Hidden Hollow, New Braunfels, TX
From I10 (coming from Louisiana) and when you get to Seguin, you'll exit Hwy 46 to New Braunfels. When you get to IH35, make a right, go North young man.
Just north of New Braunfels whilst on IH35, exit FM 306 to Canyon Lake. Go 6 1/2 miles and make a LEFT into River Chase. Follow that road, go down a low water crossing, up, make a left sweeper and you'll see a big house on the right with a wrought iron fence, make a left onto Indian Ridge. It dog legs and then you'll make a left onto Westshire. First left onto Hidden Hollow, turn into 2cnd reddish gate. Don't run over the moron Min-Pin.
Nogills from LA is stayin in one room, that leaves one more, or tons more if you don't mind floors and cats.

Hey, Doug - mucho thanks. A ride ain't the problem. I can still ride; the leak ain't real bad - just can't overuse the rear brake. I rode to Rhinewest today and Hank ordered a set of braided lines from Speigler - be in shortly.

Oh man - you missed a grilling event that would've knocked your boots in the creek. The boy outdid hizzelf, and the daughters turned out some awesome cornbread and sides. I tried going back for seconds, butt couldn't git outta my chair, I wuz so full.
And the Blanco Bowling Alley pie that Swanzy brought along wuz on a par with any country blue ribbon winner - chocolate meringue and coconut meringue!! Yummers. BTW, I had taken George Young (of BMW RA BoDirectors) with me, and he spoke of the pies as being equal to his Grandmother's, who made her's from scratch!!). Pretty good endorsement, I'd say.
Oh yeah - and the breakfast at the Blanco Bowling Alley cafe wuz as good as usual. Good group there (Monte Rogers, Channing Fell, Dean Liu, Dave Moore, Doug Turner, Edgar Tanner, Russ Locke, Jim Swanzy, Bill Hoch).

Good to see everyone again - great howdown, Grif.
The cruise control started working again on the way home but was easily tripped by slightly pushing either way on the clucth lever. Looks like an easy fix. I'll try to get some throttle cables before the 60k service and do those when it's stripped down. I think Dick wants to do the same on Toad.
Spent too much time sucking in cedar pollen whilst traversing the Hill Country yesterday. It kicked my butt in spite of all the pills, nose spray, eye drops and homeopathic remedies. Went to bed early last night but feelin better today. The only good cedar tree is the one in the burn pile....

Boy after all that work and all the promises on how the "Beerburner" would run on the way home! I am sure dissapointed, it took me two whole hours to get to Houston and another thirty minutes to get to The Woodlands.(TIC)
WOW it IS like having a new bike, I was hoping to do back roads to The Woodlands, but it was after five when we got everything buttoned up and the bike loaded. It was about 1720 when I left Griffs and it was 2030 when I exited I45 in the woodlands, what a ride. I was passed by an Escalade that was in a hurry and I jumped in behind her. I was afraid of the horned rats on the back roads and couldn't see the scenery anyway!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone that helped and pointed out all the things done out of sync
Especially to Greg Griff, I am totaly indebted to you, your hospitality is incredible, and your knowledge. I hope to learn well enough to pass it on to others. I dare say there is no other place with a web group that is so supportive of their common interest as here!

It was good to get to know so many guys, putting names, handles, faces and personalities together. Thanks Dave (CriticalMass) for the nice collection of pics. Thanks to a couple of the Blanco Bowling Breakfast crew for the pies and especially to Grif, Rachel, Sarah, and Frank for the fixings and hosting. I am sorry the Redhead wasn't around 'cause Grif gets a bit melon-collie (dog-faced?) without her, so we didn't see all of his bubbly personality. Fortunately he did have all his technical savvy and Floyd seems to be mading it back east to the swamps.

Actually, we had watched "The Jerk" with Steve Martin a few nights before, my favorite all time movie. Steve had come over and studied me for the appropriate body language and facial expressions before making said movie. That is my natural look, I have to practice in front of a mirror four hours every morning to attain any semblance of an appearance of normality.

I have been wanting to sit down and say a BIG thanks for letting this new guy into your flock and making me feel right at home. It was really a neat site to pull up and see other bikes that look alike, yet are so different. I finally got to see faces and match them with names. The folks as well as the food were the best. I really enjoyed watching the bike come apart and then get put together. I just do not have the know-how to do things like that and I am impressed to watch and see how it's done.
