2002 BMW K1200LT - after finding out that the Z6 tire did not meet the load requirment, I have switched to:
Avon Storm (Radial ) 120/70VR/17 58w - 160/70VR/17 79v
Question - Tire Pressure ( PSI Front / Rear )
1 up riding:
2 up riding:
2 up riding heavy load:

I use 42 psi front, 48 rear under all conditions.

Last year at CCR (and I believe the year before that too) TJ Tenant 'the' Bridgestone tire engineer gave us the scoop :thumb: ... especially for LTs. IF you know the load on your tire(s), go to their or the mfg of your tire index rating charts and follow those guidelines. But, if you don't know the specific loads, (most of us don't), then his guidance was to find the max pressure on the side wall and for 1 up subtract 2 psi, for 2 up put in max pressure, cold of course.
