Let me know what you think about the Dyna Beads. I've been thinking about using them in my next tire change.

Just wonder if balancing beads would work with SmartTire moniters in each wheel and how it it that the tire valve stem portion inside the wheel doesnt interfere with the beads?

Dan.. I think the Centrifugal force keeps the beads "stuck" near the tread as tire spins over about 10 MPH... so, it never comes in contact with the rim area.
At lower speeds the beads may fall against the rim, but they should not "dust" up.

Just finished putting new Metzelers on mine this last week (12.5K mi's), TWI (tread wear indicator) is stamped on the side wall (in three places around the tire) very close to the tread. Follow from the TWI across to the groove and there should be the little bump, thats it....

I've got 3000+ miles on my tires with Dyna Beads. The ride is very smooth and the tires are wearing evenly.

I just had a rear Metzeler put on 2 days ago... It didnt even need to put on any weight this time... and it handles great.

15,000 miles!!! 12,000 miles!!???
Man, I'm happy if I get 8,000 on my metzeler 880's - the only tires I have used in over 50K. However, my poor K1200LT is ridden almost 100% 2-up, loaded, and pulling a Unigo. I am a fairly aggressive twisty rider.
