We are up here slaving away to make this year's CCR better than the last, about ten of us made the trip. I travel on my stomach as does any good soldier and this place has an on site bakery and gelato shop about 75 steps from its front door. Twelve flavors of gelato. Swiss pastries. Home made breads made with no preservatives, muffins, eclairs, napoleons, croissants, pain au chocolat and more. All baked right there. I'm talking fresh. Every day. Winner of a gold medal as the best bakery in the state, 2007, the first year they have been open.
Nearby is the fitness center to work off those eclairs.... if you aren't signed up for this CCR, you'll regret missing it when the photos are posted afterwards. God knows what forsaken outpost we'll have to trek to next year and if they will even have gelato there?

The Train Ride!!! I didn't take pictures, but Randy probably snapped a 1000 shots, so hopefully he will post the pictures.
The train goes from Heber City, UT down Provo Canyon to Vivan Park. The website is: http://www.hebervalleyrr.org/
The ride was 3 hours, and was a must do activity for anyone in the area. We will be posting more information on the optional train ride event we are planning for Wednesday.

+1 on the train ride. Talk about beautiful scenery! I snapped bunch of pics, too and will try to post some in the next couple of days.
I have to say that I am really impressed with Zermatt and the Heber Valley area. The facility is fantastic and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. And there are twisty roads of all kinds out there to ride! ElJeffe and I whipped my rental car over one "GS Only" highway (224 into Park City) and the views just got better and better the higher we climbed. Did get the car a little dirty, though. :D Plus there's hiking, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking, fly fishing, golfing, etc. You can even scuba dive in a hot spring near the resort! This is really going to be a great event, I'm really looking forward to it!
