The quick release axel initial is 19 Nm or 14 Ft Lb followed with a final of 30 Nm or about 22.1 Ft lb. The pinch bolts are 21 Nm or 15.4 Ft lb but they should only be tightened after compressing the forks a few times. Caliper torque is 30 Nm. Be sure and apply a light film of grease on the axel

I just replaced the front wheel and some suggest a little masking tape on the rotor to keep it from getting scratched. I didn't have enough clearance to slide it in so had to do it without. It is a bear to get back together, but by touch seems to slide in OK. You just have to sort of feel it and gently rock it back and forth. Talking about the callipers on each side. I wish there was an easier way to get the callipers back on.

Dan,
It really helps if you force the pistons back in by rocking the calipers on the rotor before you remove them ( more than just enough for them to come off). The more you push them back the easier the calipers come off and go back on.

Thanks. Next time I'll give it a try. It was strange for them to go back on because I couldn't see and the clearance was really tight. Just all of a sudden, they were lined up.... I wouldn't have had the confidence to try it myself if it were not for this great group of friends...
