Down the Blue Ridge parkway and Deal's Gap (Dragon). A trip I'd like to take.

Did the Parkway in 05 on the way back from DC. Pretty but the slow speed limit gets old fast.

Did the Dragon in 06 the day after picking up the GS at Brazelton CCR.

One of the best rides ever. I try to get down there every year. Stay off the skyline drive. The park rangers are VERY strict on the speed enforcement, and the crowd, forget-it. But not one trooper from Rockfish Gap all the way down to the NC state line and some of the areas it’s like you are the only one on the road.
The dragons tail was fun… quite crowded though… get there early
