I currently have an Autocom with wires to rider and passenger helmets. It would be nice if I did not have wires to the helmets. So this is what I have and want. Is Bluetooth for me ? if so what brands will work ?
want to talk to passenger and rider only not other bikes
have full face Arai helmets
want to connect to my Garmin Zumo 550 for directions and stereo XM radio
want lithium batteries for 8 - 12 hours before charge
Is it out their and at what price ?
Thanks, Mike

I have this item.
It does what you want it do do, I.e. Intercom to the passanger, can talk to another bike, although not on the same time, has a battery capasity of approx 7 hours continously speaking and said to have 700 hours of 'idle'.
You can link it up to your GSM phone and to your GPS (at the same time) so you hear them. It has voice activation on the Phone so you dont need to push any buttons to answer the calls.
Installation and use of this headset is easy, and you can move the item from helmet to helmet rather easy. It is mounted with a clamp and some screws so you dont need to damage the helmet in doing so.
I have removed some of the foam inside the helmet to get the speaker more away from my ears, but that was not needed.
I would say that this was a good investment for me and my passenger.
Thats my 2 øre (as i live across the pond)
