Screen Problem GPS

Help. I look through half the previous threads on GPS and did not find anything related to my issue. I hope some of you can assist.

I have a Navigator II that came with my 2005 LT. It is out of warranty.

Yesterday, I go out to the garage and get on the bike and noticed the screen on the GPS has like a bubble that extends over the bottom half of the screen. Sort of like the screen films have delaminated. The GPS still works, but it is almost impossible to see the bottom half at all during daylight. I can see it in dark surroundings. This happened overnight. No signs of problems on the previous day.

Question: Have any of you had a similar problem? If so, what did you do? What can I expect from Garmin?

I had the same problem with mine. I was able to get the screen almost like new using Novus #2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/NOVUS-1-2-3-PINBALL-MACHINE-SCRATCH-REMOVER-CLEANER_W0QQitemZ170220808688QQihZ007QQcategoryZ13727QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) polish. I first scraped as much of the delaminating protective film off as I could, then polished away with the Novus #2. The stuff works miracles.
