I just received my signal minder and the instructions included don't really tell me where to look..
I looked at the repair cd and search did not find it....
Anyone know where it is located?
 Do I have to take the tank off to get to it?
Thanks

I considered buying the Signal Minder as well but to be sure, I checked with Kisan support and was told that in the ī05 LT, the signal relay is incorporated into the Motronic computer.
Kisanīs advice was to ship the computer to them and they would make the required modification to the Moronic, er, I mean Motronic, or they would do it on an exchange basis.
You have to remove the gas tank to get to the Motronic. Seems moronic to me.
Apparently, some early production run ī05 LTīs have the more conventional signal relay made by Delphi. Those models will work with the stock Signal Minder.

If you are talking about the device that controls the turn signals, it is not in the Motronic. It is however a more than a simple flasher and it is tucked away in the relay box under the fuel tank. This applies to all years of the LT.
It is the most forward object in the top row.

Am I missing something? I thought all LT's already had self cancelling turn signals. My '06 definitely has, although I never use it. I always self-cancel. I don't want to get out of the habit as I ride other vehicles.

I know that my 03 has self cancelling turn signals. And like you, I always do my own thing with them. However, I know that when on the highway and I signal for an upcoming turn, they will cancel on there own. It has something to do with speed and distance traveled. They will not self cancel when sitting at at stop.

Thank you for the info and picture.
Aye.. my bike does cancel the signal light, and I do cancel them myself when riding back and forth to work...
Using the signal minder allows you to set the signals to act as running lights.
It also lets you tie in the brake light and flashes both signals for a few seconds when you hit the brakes.
I'm doing my 24K service this coming weekend so I'll have everything off the bike and can get to the current flasher control.

Mine does not! :(
Frankly I did not think it had that capability.

Paul,
I looked at the diagram for the EURO version and it has the same flasher unit and an input from the tachometer. It should self cancel unless it is bad.
