Attached is a menu. I can say with a certainty that the Banana Split Pie still tasted pretty good after sitting in the fridge for 2 days. Wouldn't recommend it as the bananas were getting soft though.

The other great news is Mr. Pie got a second Harley. Yippee!!! We will be coming on that Saturday - he says my royal butt will be riding in more comfort (now if I can just get us to "hook up" so we can communicate with each other . . . oh yeah, I see that as a gift in the near future!) 2005 Ultra Classic Electra Glide with only about 9000 miles (this guy obviously didn't know how to ride) - with lots of extras so I am told. Got a great deal from a buddy. Sorry, we just couldn't switch over to the BMW side - it would scar our image you know!

Guess they had some fluid leaking and they got into a tight corner, lost the rear, high sided and they went into some grass and dirt (luckily). Neither of them hurt other than a little road rash and the bike got banged up a little (new to them Ultra). They called to say they made it back home and were okay, but it may be awhile before Gina looks good in a halter top again. Keith messed up his chin. David actually spoke with them and can add more of the details when he gets in, which should be shortly.

I just talked to Gina.... They are home safe and sound. they faired well. As Jerry said some cuts, scraps, and bruises. The Ultra was pretty banged up. Gina's hand was turning black and swelling up now. but she can move her fingers so nothing seems to be broke. They are both in good spirits and are ready for next months RTE. Gina requested that it be within walking distance of there house so they can make this one. :rolleyes:

As for the Simply Country Cafe....It far surpassed all expectations. I did have one problem....I wanted to try it all. The food was outstanding, but the pie could only be referred to as HEAVENLY!

Those that didn't make it need to plan a ride there whenever they get a chance.

I took some pictures, but it seems that I had pie fixation.....not many pictures of the group...just pie.

It was great to see all that showed up....good company always make the food better.

Well did I happen to mention that off roading and dirt biking are NOT good to try on a Harley Ultra? We have been on some exciting rides but today topped the cake (or pie!) Had a little problem on a turn and thanks to Mr. Pie's experience and quick response we went off road, laid the bike down but the front tire went into a slight drop and at that point we were ejected. I grabbed on to him to try and keep him from rolling which helped us both out. We have several scraps, cuts and bruises, my hand is swollen and Keith is a tad worse but we were able to walk away and for that we are thankful. God was obviously watching over us. A huge thank you to Bruce and Nathan for taking care of us, waiting with us and missing banana split pie. We love you for that. Another great blessing was that Sarah was with us and didnt witness the accident-she was a bit shaken but a trooper. A thank you to Billy and his wife (passing motorist and angels) that helped us out, got our bike on a trailer, helped us get cleaned up and drove us to Athens to meet another friend who trailered us back to Dallas. Mr Pie is sick about the damage but insurance will fix that up = I am sure pride is a bit crushed but I would ride it again with him. He is the man! We will be riding the Road King and I guess the new and improved Ultra will makes its debut next time. Thanks to you all for the calls, prayers and concerns. We appreciate you!

When you two are ready, yell and I will meet you guys there for a slice of what ever the flav of the day is that day. Today was B.S. Pie (David's name for it) and next time I will have to try one of the others. Might even have to give that Blueberry Banana a try.

You guys get fixed up in a hurry, but remember it is going to hurt worse Monday than it does now. :(

Thanks so much! We are getting better each day. Still battling a tad with my hand but swelling is good today so hopefully that is on the mend. Keith is doing well - has one pretty raw spot on his shoulder but we are doctoring that several times a day.

No doctors so far. Mainly some cuts/scrapes on arms and my hand is really bruised but swelling is down and fingers all work so that is a plus!

Hmmmm, seems I did not take my own advice on this last pie countdown post . . .guess we forgot what the word "SAFE" meant. Well, Mr. Pie and I couldn't just let Bruce have ALL the glory with last month's flat and all. As he pulled up to the crash site I looked at him, threw my arms in the air and said "Bruce, top this one!" We must find humor in our near death experiences! :p
