I purchased an OEM rear shock on Ebay. It came from an '05 K1200LT. It is supposed to have only 2,600 miles on it. I have 38K on my '03 LTE and I'm thinking the rear shock is a little rough. I only gave $75 for it. The others I've seen were around $250. Now I have to install it. That should not be too hard. At least it won't be as hard as installing the clutch..................

You'll probably need to do the front now too. There's a company, I think from someplace in Canada, who rebuilds the stockers too... might be worth picking up a used front and getting the old rear and old front rebuilt to keep on hand for a refresh in the future so everything is kept relatively "even" in terms of equally used parts.
