OK, as close as I remember when John R showed us, you have to remove the windshield before you can take the front main fairing off. I think there is some hidden screw somewhere near the upper part, but don't remember where.

Any other info you can provide on this would be appreciated.

Yes, I'm finally going to finally put on some of the farkles I've bought over the years.

Hi John,

I believe it is under the courtesy light on the dash. I have not had it off completely myself but my studies indicated that it was there...

I'll probably be doing my 24K service this weekend so I can get back to you then.

This is correct. It is the Torx screw up inside (not the phillips head you see easily once the courtesy light is removed).

Also don't forget that one screw on each side of the bike, hidden by the windshield arms. Move the windshield up and down until it is positioned in such a way you have access to these T25 screws.
Usually most people find them during disassembly but forget to put them back on and worry because the end up with a couple of screws in their hand after the bike is put back together. DAMHIK. :rolleyes:
