I had a Co-Pilot shelf installed in 06 on my 2000 LT. My Garmin Street Pilot seems to bounce an awful lot lately. I tried tightening all the shelf's screws but there's no change. Are there bushings or something I need to change?

The only rubber bushings are the 3 connecting the shelf to the top of the dash.
The co-pilot kit comes with the proper drill bit, but it is possible that the installer did not have it or did not use it and drilled a hole a tad too large, which could be your problem.

Thanks Zippy.. I did give them the complete kit, but who knows if they used it. BMR said I should check the instrument shroud to make sure it was tight.
I didn't see anything loose there either.

To be honest my garmin bounces on my BMR shelf on rough roads, but that is a good thing. If it wasn't bouncing it would be ABSORBING all that shock. Could you imaging in our wheels didn't bounce? Ouch.
I guess if it was excessive I would look for a solution.
