Well it saddens me to say (NOT) that I no longer have to receive phone calls from Bruce rubbing in the fact that he is out (during the middle of the week) riding his motorcycle and enjoying the great weather along with some BBQ, PIE and whatever else he can find great to eat while the rest of us are slaving away at that silly little thing called a JOB! :histerica

Be sure to ask Bruce about his new job when you see him on Saturday!

Betcha Judy is not happy. She wuz so used to having din-din all done and the table all set and the felines all taken care of and the house cleaned and the grocery shopping all done!!! :eek: Well, maybe one or two outta five ain't bad!! :D Hmmmm - no wonder he finally got a job!!

No Hard 8 time for this guy (unless it is on the week-end when we can all go along and enjoy). Yes, I'm sure he will be tired when he gets home and checks e-mails - therefore his humor online will probably diminish. :D

Poor Judy, she will probably be in shock and have a harder time adjusting than Bruce will. No clean laundry, no errands run, no DINNER ON THE TABLE . . .

This was a quick one. I interviewed on Tuesday morning, got the offer on Wednesday morning, and started work on Wednesday afternoon. Boy, they don't know what kind of "gold brink" I am. :histerica


David, how did you guess....they gave me a great 8x8 cell with a view....:) Not sure what I'm looking at yet...but it does have a view

Dick, I had to go back because I could not wait any longer for Toad to get fixed, but I did negotiate enough time off that I should be able to slip away during the week for some Hard 8 Q and "PIE" in Hico...:p


Yeah, Judy will be going through some withdrawls with my going back to work....means she'll arrive home before me and have to deal with the hungry felines..

Thanks everyone...it was hard the first morning getting out of bed and actually having to put on something other than a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. I like the other commute from the kitchen to my home office, but the money just was not there to keep doing it and besides I think the Queen aka Judy enjoys the fact that I'm working and not lounging around the house, taking naps.... err...running errands, shopping, taking care of the cars & truck, being available at a moments notice to run and pick things up, etc..
