Anyone have an idea of how to remove the silver Plastic covers on the screws, on the windsheild cover. I'm replaceing the windsheild on my 2005 lt and have been trying to remove the covers very easily and trying not to damage them and suggestions???

The plastic covers are held in place by spring tension. Push to the side while lifting on the opposite side and they should just pop off. The spring tension is a might on the stout side so you do have to push fairly hard.

Easiest way, stand on the left side facing the bike, push the chrome cover with the palms of your hands and pull up on the inside of the chrome cover with your fingers. It will pop off with some effort. Repeat for the right side. Once you get them off you'll have a good idea of how they are held on.

To install, hook the covers on the outside and push toward the center and they snap back on.
